Our Mates work on our Gallant Lady yachts performing a variety of tasks. Our Mate position is not live-aboard while at home port. During cruising season, Mates work 2-3 week assignments in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and New England. All boats are based in the Fort Lauderdale/Deerfield area. Responsibilities:

Cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of the vessels. Providing exterior/interior maintenance, stewarding, and guest services. Providing fine dining and bar-tending services to guests. Conducting guest tours of the vessels, assisting with snorkeling, fishing or sightseeing trips, and other miscellaneous duties.

Fluid RIB Qualifications:

Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license and JMFE-approved driving record. Prior hospitality industry and/or yachting/boating experience preferred. Desire to pursue a career in the marine industry required. Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and professional demeanor required. Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks per month throughout the year; Must possess a valid US driver's license and a current passport. Ability to work well with all levels of individuals. Ability to assist guests with swimming and snorkeling activities. Ability to adhere to strict no-smoking guidelines while aboard. Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and frequently ascend and descend a ladder to service guests and crew.
