As a Boat Hauler, you will be responsible for preparing boats for transport, securing loads, and navigating routes efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Rig boats securely onto trailers or transport vehicles using proper rigging techniques to prevent movement during transit Conduct thorough inspections of boats and trailers to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns before departure Operate heavy-duty trucks and specialized hauling equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth transportation Plan and follow optimal routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations for safe delivery Assist with loading and unloading boats, ensuring proper placement and securement at pick-up and drop-off points Maintain detailed records of trips, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and safety audits Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered during transit Experience Prior experience in rigging boats or similar transportation roles is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation, trailer systems, and basic repairs Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments Familiarity with route planning, GPS navigation, and traffic regulations for commercial hauling Excellent attention to detail to ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently Join us in delivering excellence on every journey!
