Apply Offshore Marine QHSE Specialist Location Antwerp Job Type Permanent A leading international ship management organisation is seeking an Offshore Marine QHSE Specialist to support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of its offshore vessel fleet from their Antwerp office. This is an opportunity to join a globally recognised maritime business supporting offshore operations across Europe, working closely with vessel crews, technical teams and shore based stakeholders within a dynamic operational environment. The role combines offshore marine operations, HSEQ compliance, audits, investigations and operational support across a specialised offshore fleet. Responsibilities As Offshore Marine QHSE Specialist, you will support the development and maintenance of the company's vessel management systems while helping ensure the fleet operates safely, efficiently and in full compliance with international regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with Masters, Chief Engineers, Safety Officers and operational teams, providing guidance across audits, inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments and HSEQ improvement initiatives. The position would suit someone with offshore marine exposure who enjoys a varied operational role combining compliance, vessel support, safety culture and stakeholder engagement.
Support the ongoing development and maintenance of vessel management systems
Conduct internal audits, inspections and compliance follow up activities
Coordinate with Flag, Class and external auditors for vessel certifications and inspections
Support incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective action processes
Monitor offshore fleet HSEQ performance and KPI reporting
Assist with ISM, ISPS, MLC and ISO compliance activities
Support vessel crews and shore teams with operational HSEQ guidance
Participate in emergency drills and response activities
Deliver training, coaching and safety related support where required
Monitor regulatory developments and offshore industry requirements Requirements
Previous experience within offshore marine, ship management or maritime HSEQ environments
Understanding of offshore vessel operations and marine compliance requirements
Knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO and maritime audit processes
Experience supporting inspections, investigations or risk assessments preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Organised and structured approach to operational support activities
Ability to work collaboratively across vessel and shore based teams
Fluent English required
EU working rights or Belgium/EU based candidates highly preferred Benefits
