Job Summary Join the Miss Augusta team! Miss Augusta is Missouri's premier waterfront dining venue offering daily public cruises, specialty cruises, and private events. We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Galley Assistant/Deckhand to join our team. This role is crucial in helping set up the galley for cruises, prepping ingredients, cleaning, and helping with basic tasks around the boat. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and eager to contribute to a unique hospitality experience on the water. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with a strong commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Requirements Valid Food Handler's Certificate is required Culinary school training or previous prep cook experience is a plus Must be 18 years or older and skilled with cooking tools (e.g., knives) Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical stamina to stand, lift, and work long shifts Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules Ability to stay calm and focused in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
