Updated 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary The successful candidate will be part of Singapore Sales (Cargo) team in Cargo Division. He/she will be involved in maximising Sales revenue from freight forwarders to meet performance indicators (e.g. revenue, loads and load factor) for the station set by Sales & Marketing Division. Responsibilities A. Revenue/ tonnage performance
  • Monitor forwarder performance and gather spanet intelligence on competitor activities/ key accounts to support sales strategies.
  • Maintain regular engage with forwarders; support occasional within/after-hours customer requsts.
  • Action on Cargo Space Management (CSM) requests for adhoc support on weak flights by contacting forwarders for more supports
  • Gather spanet intelligent on local cargo demand and conditions via forwarders. B. Account management function
  • Serve as primary contact for assigned key forwarders and take responsibility for their performance.
  • Coordinate with SIN reservation to secure space; escalate to Sales Manager when required.
  • Consolidate allocation requests and request allocation from the respective regional Supervisors and Sales Managers C. Operational matters and other duties
  • Work closely with operational department to check on loadability of shipment and space requirements before requesting for space.
  • Coordinate with destination stations on operational/ technical requirements (security, trucking, equipment, weight limit/clearance and etc).
  • Liaise internally on pricing related items (trucking, interline, cool room charges and etc) to support shipment movement.
  • Coordinate cross functionally to secure capacity, trucking arrangements.
  • Work with Sales Support/account team to prepare contracts and adhoc shipment rating; investigate and verify post flight billing disputes.
Requirements Diploma holder in Logistic, Marketing, Business or Sales-related courses Experience in air cargo industry, with Sales & Accounts servicing experience. Preferably with driver's license and own vehicle Knowledge of local air cargo operations System knowledge and IT skills (eg: MS words, excel, SFM, and etc) Possess good communication and interpersonal skills Good negotiation and analytical skills Good interpersonal skills Customer-focused and service-oriented Ability to persuade We thank all candidates for your interest in Singapore Airlines, and regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
