Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia About the Opportunity An international energy operator is seeking an experienced FPSO Conversion Delivery Lead to support the execution and delivery of a major deepwater offshore development project. This role will lead
FPSO EPCIC
conversion activities from engineering and fabrication through integration, sailaway, offshore installation, hook-up, and commissioning support. The successful candidate will provide leadership across multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, shipyards, and offshore execution stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and technically compliant project delivery within schedule and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage FPSO conversion EPCIC execution activities throughout all project phases Oversee contractor performance across engineering, procurement, fabrication, integration, commissioning readiness, and offshore execution Monitor project schedule, progress, critical path activities, and recovery plans to support key project milestones Coordinate shipyard conversion activities including module integration, sequencing, fabrication, and mechanical completion Ensure readiness for sailaway, offshore hook-up, commissioning, and operational handover activities Manage technical, contractual, and execution risks while implementing mitigation and recovery actions Coordinate interfaces between topsides, marine, subsea, commissioning, and operations teams Support commercial management activities including contract administration, variation management, claims, and contractor performance reviews Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, constructability reviews, safety case reviews, and model reviews Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, classification society requirements, and international offshore standards Lead project reporting activities and provide regular updates to senior project leadership Support offshore installation, hook-up, punch list management, and commissioning activities Promote strong HSE and QA/QC culture across all project execution phases Coordinate closely with contractors, vendors, fabrication yards, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical and execution issues Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 15 years of experience within offshore oil and gas project execution Minimum 7 years of direct FPSO new build or conversion project experience Strong experience managing

execution through fabrication, integration, sailaway, offshore installation, and commissioning phases Proven experience managing large offshore projects within contractor, operator, or EPCIC environments Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication yards, module integration, and conversion activities Experience with offshore hook-up, commissioning, mechanical completion, and punch list management Strong understanding of offshore safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID, constructability reviews, and safety case requirements Experience managing interfaces between marine, topsides, and subsea systems Knowledge of classification society requirements and offshore regulatory compliance Strong experience in project scheduling, risk management, recovery planning, and contractor management Experience working within multicultural and multidisciplinary project environments Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills Ability to manage complex offshore project execution activities within fast-paced project environments Preferred Experience Experience on deepwater offshore developments Previous experience working with international operators, EPC contractors, or major offshore projects Experience supporting offshore installation and commissioning campaigns Exposure to shipyard conversion and life extension projects Familiarity with major offshore project delivery standards and best practices Key Competencies
