PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

duties include but are not limited to: Plans, promotes and implements well-rounded Single Sailor and Cegory (CAT) A recreion programs utilizing numerous facilities within the entire Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Department in accordance with CNIC approved program standards. Develops, organizes, publicizes, implements, evalues recurring and nonrecurring activities (e.g., classes, trips, outings, tournaments, outreach opportunities, special events, skills development, etc.) Recommends program changes and additions based on seasonal changes and pron's input. Evalues recreional needs and on-going programs by reviewing and analyzing participion, pron sisfaction, comment carts, interest surveys, focus groups, advisory boards, command liaisons and personal contacts with individuals and groups to determine specific needs. Compiles results to determine if new programs should be offered, expanded, curtailed, or elimined. Carriers out programs and activities in accordance with supervisory instructions and guidelines by encouraging prons to participe, keeping order and ensuring their safety. Directs the recruitment and utilizion of volunteers for various MWR activities and programs. Maintains a current, active list of volunteer rosters and overseas utilizion of correct documention for volunteer usage. Coordines and executes a direct communicion line between the Single Sailor Program and the Jr. Sailor populion by reacting to a Recreion Ambassador Program, Recreion Advisory Board. Maintains current liaisons with tenants and host command representives. Coordines and executes other CAT A Programs (e.g. green space, command support, fleet recreion, alternive Liberty delivery and Liberty Recreion Center, Fleet Recreion or Single Sailor Center, etc.) assigned. Instructs subordine staff in administering traditional and non-traditional workshops, clinics and events in a variety of leisure skills (e.g. SAQ, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping, etc.) Provides outdoor field experiences reled to above skill training in the form of day and weekend trips. Transports prons off base to designed locions for trips or classes. Marketing duties include but are not limited to: Develop working partnerships with both on-base and off-based organizions (e.g. clubs, special interest groups, Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC), MWR Community Recreion, etc.) Research and provides informion and referral on a variety of recreional opportunities for Jr. Sailors on and off the base, Plans, coordines, publicize, markets and executes programs and events within the Single Sailor Program by utilizing all available resources. Promote MWR Facilities and events through staff and student indoctrinion and other large group functions and gherings. Works directly with Marketing to provide quarterly and monthly calendars, electronic media updes, and special event programs for the Single Sailor Program and other CAT A Recreion Programs. Works directly with the marketing department to develop tools and promotional items th can be used to expand participion in Single Sailor events and programs, Administrion duties include but are not limited to: Provides administrive duties and support through after-action reports, da collection and dabase administrion. Monitors all five metric areas in the Single Sailor Program Standards to ensure standards are met or exceeded. Assists with writing standard opering procedures. Ensures Single Sailor Program and CAT A recreion facility and activities associed with the Single Sailor Program meet established fire, safety, security and sanition guidelines. Resolves customer complaints and solicits feedback to improve the quality of services rendered. Maintains telephone, email and personal contacts with command representives, industry professionals, equipment representives, special interest groups, local community, area clubs and civic organizions. Prepares and justifies annual and quarterly opering budgets for CAT A recreion and Single Sailor Programs. Tracks and monitors account for Credit Card purchases. Maintains up-to-de records and proper documention. Provides leadership recommendions on the purchase of equipment and supplies needed to support the Single Sailor Program, based on planned activities. Inities and submits procurement requests for all supplies, equipment, furniture and facility upgrades reled to the Single Sailor Program. Assumes accountability for all equipment used for the CAT A recreion and Single Sailor Programs. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Must pass all applicable records and background check. Knowledge of the scope of recreional activities and their suitability for individuals, groups, ages and interests Knowledge of current trends in recreion. Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques th motive and encourage program participion. Knowledge of CNIC's EEO policy and procedures. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Ability to develop and effectively deliver presentions and/or training. Ability to influence others in obtaining cooperion and assistance. Ability to perform the full range of supervisory duties. Ability to communice effectively both orally and in writing.
