Job Description

UXU Ranch - Now Hiring Wranglers for the 2026 Season! Work, ride, and thrive in the heart of Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest — just 17 miles from the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park. You should be here. We're looking for hardworking, horse-savvy, guest-friendly
EXPERIENCED
Wranglers who take pride in their work, support their team, and help create unforgettable guest experiences. If you love long days outdoors, care deeply for horses, and thrive in a close-knit ranch community, we'd love to talk with you.
Season:
June 1st - September 15 (+/-)
Compensation:
Salary based on experience + tips

Requirements:
Valid driver's license

Restrictions:
No pets, no smoking What You'll Do 🐎 Horse Care & Herd Management Feed, water, groom, and monitor horse health Condition and train horses for guest riding Help wrangle horses in and out of pasture 🔧 Barn, Tack & Ranch Maintenance Maintain tack, saddles, and gear Keep corrals, barns, horse areas and stalls clean and organized Assist with trail upkeep, fence repair, hay & manure handling and disposal Support airport pickups and guest transportation Assist with ranch activities and guiding 🤠 Guest Services & Instruction Lead safe, enjoyable trail rides for all experience levels Provide riding safety instruction and horsemanship guidance Assist with mounting, tack adjustments, and safety briefings Share your knowledge of the area, horses, wildlife, and ranch life Guiding involvement with BB Gun Range, fishing, roping, nightly fireside activities. 👨‍👩‍👧 Children's & Specialty Activities Help with age-appropriate kids' activities Support ranch programs including, storytelling, roping demonstrations

If you can 2-step or country swing, even better! 🏕 Hospitality & General Ranch Support Welcome guests and foster a friendly, inclusive ranch community Pitch in with ranch events, activities, and occasional kitchen or guest-services support Uphold ranch safety standards (CPR/First Aid a plus) Assist positively and effectively during emergencies Who We're Looking For Confident
