  • Job Overview:
  • Looking to hire this week! We are seeking a reliable distribution and collection person to assist the Director of Operations with distribution and collection of three area newspapers, a monthly magazine and a quarterly magazine. Previous newspaper single copy delivery, collection or sales experience is a plus. Primary delivery and collection area will be Calhoun, Talladega and St. Clair Counties.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Delivering single copy newspaper and magazine routes
  • Invoicing and collecting single copy sales
  • Setting up and staffing kiosk sales events
  • Maintaining outdoor and indoor newspaper racks
  • Maintaining relationships with current stores and expanding single copy rack locations
  • Delivery of home and office samples
  • Collaborating with the Director of Operations on ways to improve efficiency, expand sales and increase revenue.
  • Skills:
  • Must be a team player
  • Delivery experience preferred.
  • Good time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills
