Dump Truck / Skid Steer Operator On-Call Position | Great Opportunity for Extra Income |

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking supplemental income, part-time work, or an on-call position with flexibility and future growth potential. Role Overview Andrade's Clean Up is currently seeking an experienced CDL A Driver / Skid Steer Operator for an on-call, as-needed position. In this position, you play a critical role in keeping operations moving safely and efficiently. You will operate dump trucks and skid steers to transport materials and debris to and from assigned locations. This is a hands-on, safety-focused position essential to meeting customer expectations and supporting field operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to earn additional income while maintaining flexibility in their schedule. Current work demand is estimated at approximately 1 to 2 days per week, depending on project needs. While this is not a full-time role today, as our operations continue to expand, there may be opportunities for increased hours and potentially a full-time position in the future. This is a 1099 independent contractor position (not W-2). Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate dump trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Operate related equipment as required, including skid-steers/Bobcats, in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
  • Follow proper loading, unloading, and securement procedures using chains, binders, and other safety equipment.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe operating condition.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules using GPS and communication tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours worked, deliveries, and basic vehicle condition as required.
  • Comply with traffic laws, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in varying weather and road conditions.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, field crews, and office staff regarding job status, delays, or equipment concerns.
  • Dispose of debris at approved landfill or disposal sites.
  • Assist with general cleanup around containers and work areas as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned based on operational needs. Qualifications & Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience driving dump trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and material handling practices.
  • Familiarity with route driving, construction environments, and varied terrain.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain required documentation.
  • Skid steer/Bobcat experience preferred
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role involves operating commercial vehicles and working outdoors at job sites. Duties may include standing, walking, climbing, lifting, bending, and working in varying weather conditions.
