Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations following designated routes. Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about products or services, and provide excellent customer service during each delivery. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities. Handle heavy lifting and merchandise loading/unloading with proper safety techniques. Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and inventory documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route adjustments. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and delivery documentation accurately. Knowledge of route driving best practices to optimize efficiency and time management. Familiarity with merchandising techniques to ensure proper product placement during deliveries. Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, reliability, and teamwork.
