Glass Shop Fabricator and Delivery Associate J&A Glass & Mirror, Inc. Rogers, Minnesota $20 to $27 per hour Full-time Typical hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM The Opportunity J&A Glass is hiring a dependable Glass Shop Fabricator and Delivery Associate to support the fabrication, preparation, staging, and delivery of commercial and residential glass products. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys building things, working with tools, and seeing finished work leave the shop ready for installation. Prior glass experience is helpful, but we will train the right person who has construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication experience. This position can develop into advanced fabrication, glazing, field installation, or shop leadership. What You Will Do Assist with the fabrication of storefront, curtain wall, entrance doors, glass, mirrors, and related materials Cut, prepare, and handle glass and mirror products Assist with brake metal fabrication Read fabrication sheets, measurements, material lists, and basic shop drawings Receive, inspect, organize, and stage materials Load and unload trucks, trailers, and material racks Deliver materials to jobsites throughout the Twin Cities area Identify damaged, incorrect, or missing materials before they leave the shop Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist field crews or work at jobsites when additional support is needed Follow daily priorities established by the Shop and Logistics Supervisor What Success Looks Like Materials are fabricated accurately Orders are staged completely and on time Deliveries arrive safely and in good condition Damaged or missing materials are reported immediately The shop stays clean and organized You become capable of completing more advanced fabrication with limited supervision Qualifications One or more years of construction, manufacturing, warehouse, mechanical, or fabrication experience preferred Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong attention to measurements and detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Willingness to learn glass fabrication and commercial glazing systems Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift and safely handle materials weighing up to 70 pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commercial glass, storefront, mirror, brake metal, forklift, or delivery experience is helpful but not required Compensation Starting pay is based on relevant construction, fabrication, warehouse, delivery, and glass experience.
