Delivery Driver - Part Time

FedEx Delivery Driver - South Gilbert Routes FedEx Driver (2650 E Queencreek Rd, Chandler) compensation: $180-300 daily employment type: part time We are looking for a part time delivery driver to join our growing team. Looking specifically for individuals with positive attitudes that are team players and customer orientated. Candidate needs to be self sufficient and a fast learner. The position we are hiring for will deliver Fedex packages in the city of Gilbert Arizona (85297 / 85298). These routes are 5 mins from the terminal where you will start and finish you day, so there is very little window time and no traffic to fight. Driver will be paid during training where they will learn the scanner and the route they will eventually service. Routes cover less that 2 square miles so are very easy to learn, but trucks are also equipped with iPads that map every stop and provide delivery instruction to assist drivers. This is hard work, and the trucks do not have air conditioning. An average full time driver delivers 130-180 stops a day. The packages range from envelopes to 150lb boxes. This job requires active physical labor combined with intelligence and organization.

VERIFIABLE

commercial driving experience (Mandatory 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years, not necessary to be driving all-day every day as long as some driving was part of the job) Uber/Lyft/Amazon qualify 2) A valid regular drivers license (Class C) 3) Legal status to work in the USA 4) Clean driving record (no DUIs, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc. in past 3 years. . .minor tickets and accidents OK) 5) Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years) 6) Able to pass physical (including drug test) 7) Clear a 10 year DOT background check 8) Must have conversational English 9) Must be punctual, energetic, reliable and honest 10) Must be able to pass a road test including DOT pre & post-trip routine 11) 21 yrs or older
