Home Delivery Driver As a Home Delivery Driver at The Flower Shop this position will be part of a team of dependable professionals that deliver packages safely and discreetly throughout the Mesa area. The Home Delivery Driver will be a crucial part of our team responsible for delivering every package to the customer's door, professionally, discreetly and on time. Working from The Flower Shop network of retail stores, this position will involve order management, data entry, pulling/picking orders and making deliveries. Adhering to federal, state, and local laws as trained as directed by the Compliance and Safety teams of the Flower Shop.

Key Responsibilities Delivery Operations:

Present in a professional and courteous manner to customers, colleagues, and the public. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport cannabis products from our retail locations to designated customer locations within Mesa. Operating technology to access information and complete delivery activities. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high level of caution and professionalism on the road. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly. Load and unload cannabis products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care. Follow delivery schedules and routes provided, optimizing efficiency while ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries. Track and document all necessary information related to deliveries, including signatures, time stamps, and any incidents or discrepancies. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to the transportation and delivery of cannabis products. Maintain a thorough understanding of Arizona state cannabis laws and ensure compliance throughout all delivery processes.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer customer inquiries or concerns promptly and address them to the best of your ability or direct them to the appropriate personnel. Ensure the accuracy of deliveries by verifying product quantities and details with customers upon arrival. Collect payments, issue receipts, and accurately record transactions as required. Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, promoting our company's commitment to quality and reliability.

Compliance, Safety, and Security:

Strictly adhere to all state and local cannabis regulations related to inventory control, record-keeping, and product tracking. Participate in regularly assigned compliance training. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Assist in security measures to protect inventory from loss or theft.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred). Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with and adherence to Arizona's cannabis laws and regulations. Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is desired. Excellent driving skills and a proven record of safe and responsible driving practices. Knowledge of transportation regulations related to the delivery of cannabis products is preferred. Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role is a plus. Basic knowledge of cannabis regulations is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in data entry and computer skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading. Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Bending, reaching, lifting, and other movements related to loading and unloading boxes and materials from delivery vans and trucks.
