Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes, ensuring timely arrivals. Load and unload merchandise, often involving heavy lifting and proper merchandising techniques to maintain product integrity. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide exceptional service. Use route driving skills to navigate efficiently, adjusting plans as needed based on traffic or delivery priorities. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales outcomes. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records with organizational precision. Follow all safety protocols, including proper vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to traffic laws. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery services with a clean driving record. Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and basic inventory management. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members. Familiarity with route planning, route driving strategies, and merchandising techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties. Previous experience in sales or upselling is a plus for enhancing customer interactions. Military background or training is advantageous for discipline, organizational skills, and safety awareness.
