Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dry Cleaning Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our service and valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting dry cleaning orders from our facility to clients' locations, ensuring timely and professional delivery every time. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving. Load and unload dry cleaning items efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Deliver orders promptly to customers' homes or businesses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of each delivery. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any concerns with a positive attitude. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records throughout your shift. Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, preparing shipments for delivery, and performing routine safety checks on vehicles. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate routes, report issues, or update delivery statuses. Experience Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or commercial driving roles involving route driving. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and load securing practices. Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and performing manual labor when required.
