In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in furniture delivery, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including tracking deliveries and obtaining necessary signatures. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions during the delivery process. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments for delivery. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver, Van Driver, or Courier is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive experience for clients. Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
