The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service. Duties Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary. Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Qualifications Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license; experience with route driving is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous but not required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
