Part-Time Driver, Use Your Own Vehicle

Already driving for Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash? Keep doing it, and add some steady, well-paid routes to your week. Shred Aware is part of a Humboldt family of local businesses, and we're hiring part-time drivers to use their own vehicle for scheduled morning and afternoon routes. Because our routes run in the morning and again in the afternoon, your midday and the rest of your day stay wide open. You can keep driving for the apps, work another job, or run your own errands in between. Think of our routes as a guaranteed, well-paid anchor for your week that you can build around. Unlike the apps, you'll know exactly where you're going and when, with up to $40/hour and no circling around waiting for a ping, it's time that actually pays. You use your own vehicle and cover your own gas and mileage out of that rate.

The work:

Drive a set route in the morning and/or the afternoon (roughly 2 to 3 hours each) Pick mornings, afternoons, or both; a few days a week or all five Your time in between is yours: keep driving for Uber, Lyft, or DoorDash, work another job, or handle your own day, whatever fits your life Work can include scheduled passenger routes and deliveries; we'll match it to your fit Two ways to work with us, your choice: As an hourly employee, or As a 1099 independent contractor What you need: At least 21 years old with a valid California driver's license Your own reliable, insured vehicle A clean driving record (no DUI, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 5 years) Dependable and on time, because people are counting on your route Able to pass a background check, which we'll walk you through We're a real local business, not a national gig app. If you want predictable, well-paid driving that fits around the rest of your schedule, please reach out.
