The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to delight customers through exceptional customer service, delivering clean and picking up soiled textiles from restaurants and hotels in a timely, safe and courteous manner. The CSR will help manage the account by maintaining accurate inventories, making adjustments and developing relationships with key contacts in the accounts. We seek highly motivated and experienced Drivers that can do what's right; using their best judgment to insure all elements of predictive service to fulfil the customer's needs. Minimum Requirements Must have experience driving 26' trucks with Air brakes. Must hold a valid California Commercial Class-C Driver's License Must have a driving record in Good Standing. To be in Good Standing Driver must present a current DMV printout report. Must demonstrate good math and Reading skills. Must communicate effectively with customers. Bilingual is a plus. Must be willing to work weekends and Holidays. Must maintain a "DOT" physical. Drivers will be qualified for this position if they meet or exceed any of the following expectations at all times during the course of employment 1 Yr Previous Truck Driving experience (24ft box truck or larger) Positive attitude with a commitment to self-improvement. Excellent verbal communication. Professional appearance Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation. Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. An ability to function well as part of a team. Diligent attention to detail. Safe working history Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport product to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner Determine each customer's ability to handle the product in a proper manner. Maintain the driver hand-held device in good condition and up and running at all times. Follow all Specialty Textile Services policies and core values. Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the product and tools including Safety Regulations. Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory. Maintain the service and appearance of truck. Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Service manager and/or Supervisors. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or any plant Manager. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading soil and clean linen. Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 80-120 lbs. Exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust. Bend up to 120 times per day to pick up clean and soiled linen.
