Job Description
Monday-Friday:
11:30 AM - 8:00 PM CFS Transportation provides small package delivery services for our partner health center throughout San Diego County. We are currently hiring a full-time Pharmacy Delivery Driver who are reliable, independent, and results-oriented. As a CFS Pharmacy Delivery Driver, your day will begin with a safety check of your vehicle and equipment. You'll pick up small packages at our distribution center in San Ysidro and deliver them to residential locations across San Diego County. You'll follow scheduled routes using GPS and stay in contact with dispatch through a company-provided phone or tablet. You'll scan packages at pickup and delivery, document any failed deliveries, and return undelivered packages to the distribution center. Drivers at CFS are dependable, professional, and focused on providing excellent service. You'll be helping deliver important medications and supplies to patients in their homes, supporting their health and well-being. To be eligible for this position, you must be 21 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S. You must have a valid California Class C driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience in California. A clean driving record is required. All drivers must pass a criminal background check, a DOT-level physical exam, TB Skin Test, and a drug screening (which includes testing for marijuana). The job requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and the ability to kneel, sit, and stand for extended periods. You must be able to follow GPS navigation, use mobile apps on a phone, and maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients and staff. Being a team player while also working independently is important in this role. Must be proficient in English, Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Arabic) is a plus. Pay for this position starts at $18.00 per hour, after completion of paid training.
