Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to deliver packages to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques
- Verify the accuracy of packages and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment; Pass a DOT physical; Be able to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck; Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check; Have reliable transportation to and from work- ️ always being on time and ready to work each workday; Be able to climb stairs; Be able to work in all types of weather; Have a strong work ethic and get-it-done attitude; Paid training will be provided that covers delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
Note:
This position may require driving a box truck or van, and working in a warehouse environment.Job Types:
