Job Description

Independent contractor hiring FedEx Ground delivery drivers, Wanted (FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, SEASONAL) American Apex International is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground. We are looking for high energy drivers (full-time, part-time, or seasonal position) with at least one year of driving experience to join our team. The individual must have strong work ethics and continuous drive to succeed. In your role as a driver, you would report to the FedEx Ground Terminal in Oceanside where your truck will be loaded, you would then have to deliver and pick up packages before returning the truck to the terminal at the day's end. Your responsibilities include arranging the packages to prepare them for smooth deliveries during the day, scanning the packages, delivering/picking up packages, pre and post trip daily vehicle inspection, and superior customer service.

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE DRIVER POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING

VERIFIABLE

driving experience (Mandatory 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years, not necessary to be driving all-day every day as long as some driving was part of the job) 2) A valid regular driver's license (Class C) 3) Legal status to work in the USA 4) Clean driving record (no DUIs, cell phone tickets, reckless driving tickets, etc. in past 3 years. minor tickets and accidents OK) 5) Clean criminal record (no major misdemeanors or felonies in past 10 years) 6) Able to pass physical (including drug test) 7) Clear a 10-year DOT background check 8) Must have conversational English 9) Must be punctual, energetic, reliable and honest 10) Must be at least 21 years of age Please do NOT apply unless you meet the ten driver requirements listed above.
