Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various destinations. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers.Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles including vans, box trucks, and tractor-trailers
- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents
- Assist with inventory management as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with route driving and efficient delivery practices
