Primary Purpose:
Supports foundational activities that maintain energy delivery systems, including basic data entry, field inspections, and material preparation. Contributes to safe and efficient operations by following established procedures and compliance requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs basic data analysis on system reliability and reports findings to inform planning decisions. Updates work management systems with job progress, equipment usage, and material details. Participates in training sessions and workshops to build knowledge of energy distribution systems. Monitors substation and circuit capacities and tracks corresponding electrical loads. Prepares documentation on distribution needs to support estimating and job package completion. Provides basic technical assistance during storm events or emergencies under direction of senior personnel. Prepares documentation for permits and compliance requirements. Provides basic customer communication during scheduled maintenance or outages. Frequent, independent driving to meetings, company locations, field locations and/or active incidents sites while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws is essential to this position and cannot reasonably be accomplished via alternative transportation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
A valid California driver's license is required.

  • Streamlining the creation, execution, storage or renewal of contracts, with a focus on compliance, often via software or other automated means. Resource Optimization
  • The process of allocating and managing resources in the most efficient way possible. Data Management
  • A process which includes acquiring, validating, storing, protecting, and processing required data. Vendor Management
  • Overseeing relationships with key vendors and partner organizations that deliver products, services, and support to the business.
