Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, along assigned delivery routes. Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Deliver packages to residential and business addresses with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and handle any delivery discrepancies or issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections throughout your shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate route adjustments or address unforeseen challenges. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving packages, organizing shipments, and preparing loads for daily routes. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred. Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages safely and efficiently. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Comfortable working in various weather conditions and adhering to safety protocols. Excellent route driving skills with attention to detail and time management.
