Oakland Role:

Arrive at the FedEx Terminal at 8 a.m. to organize the company truck and deliver/ pickup customer packages - both commercial and residential on assigned route safely and as per customer instructions Deliver time sensitive express packages e.g. delivery by 10.30 a.m./ 12 p.m. before time Pick-up packages within the pick-up window Physically able to lift packages upto 50 lbs; able to handle packages up to 150 lbs

Requirements:

21 years of age or older with a valid Drivers License-Class C At least 1 year of verifiable job-related driving experience with large delivery step vans Need candidates who are FedEx approved are preferred. Clean driving record (No accidents, DUI's, tickets, reckless driving tickets etc.) Clear criminal record (No misdemeanors, no felony) Pass DOT Physical, Drug test and background check (Paid by Employer!). Legally authorized to work in the US (all candidates are subject to eVerify) - able to be authorized as a driver by FedEx including TSA certification Conversational and reading English skills Flexible schedule: Full-time, Part-time positions - 1-7 days a week, with weekends available.
