Veruca is looking for reliable, safety-focused Class A Drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you'll transport Veruca's 35-foot mobile grocery trailers between our San Marcos warehouse and their designated locations throughout the area, while also assisting with warehouse and trailer operations when driving duties are complete. This is a part-time position with two available shifts. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable towing large trailers, and willing to jump in and help with warehouse operations between driving assignments. What You'll Do Trailer Transportation Safely tow Veruca's 35-foot mobile grocery trailers using a full-size pickup truck. Pick up trailers from our San Marcos warehouse and deliver them to their designated locations. Complete multiple trailer deliveries during your shift until all scheduled trailers have been deployed. For the evening shift, travel to designated locations to pick up trailers and return them to the San Marcos warehouse. Perform basic inspections of trailers before and after transport. Ensure trailers are safely and properly positioned at their designated locations. Warehouse & Trailer Support When you're not actively driving, you'll assist with: Restocking trailers with inventory and supplies. Inspecting trailer inventory and equipment. Checking trailers for cleanliness, organization, and general condition. Assisting with loading and unloading. General warehouse organization and operational tasks. Other duties that support the daily operation of Veruca's mobile grocery fleet. Safety & Operations Follow all company safety procedures and transportation requirements. Maintain a clean and professional driving record. Safely operate vehicles and trailers in a variety of conditions. Communicate effectively with the warehouse and operations teams regarding trailer movements, issues, and delays. Complete required vehicle and trailer inspections.

Available Shifts Morning Shift:

5:00 AM - 9:00 AM Pick up trailers from the San Marcos warehouse. Deliver trailers to their designated locations. Return to the warehouse between assignments as needed. Assist with warehouse/trailer duties when driving assignments are complete.

Evening Shift:

7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Travel to designated locations to pick up trailers. Return trailers to the San Marcos warehouse. Complete multiple trailer pickups as needed. Assist with warehouse/trailer duties when driving assignments are complete. Part-time hours. Schedule and number of shifts per week will be discussed during the interview. Qualifications Valid California Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Clean driving record. Experience safely towing large trailers. Previous commercial driving, transportation, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple scheduled trailer movements. Reliable and punctual — timely trailer deployment and pickup are critical to our operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical warehouse tasks. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds .
