Job Description
Platform, a fast-growing courier and logistics company, is seeking reliable Delivery Drivers (1099 Independent Contractors) in the San Pablo, California area. This position involves pharmacy and courier deliveries using your own vehicle. Routes will initially provide approximately 4-6 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday , with a guaranteed minimum of 4 paid hours per route . The position starts Tuesday, September 8, 2026 , and delivery volume is expected to increase consistently over time, creating the opportunity for the schedule to grow into full-time hours . We are hiring immediately, and qualified applicants will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis . Work Schedule Monday through Friday Approximately 4-6 hours per day initially Guaranteed minimum of 4 paid hours per route No weekends Hours expected to increase as delivery volume grows Responsibilities Pick up and deliver pharmacy packages according to assigned routes Use your own reliable vehicle for deliveries Follow routing through GPS and the Platform driver app Verify delivery information and ensure packages reach the correct recipient Complete proof of delivery and required confirmations through the mobile app Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery updates or issues Maintain a professional and friendly attitude during deliveries Follow all required pharmacy delivery and confidentiality procedures Qualifications Previous courier, pharmacy, food delivery, or other professional delivery experience is highly preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Personal auto insurance Reliable personal vehicle Smartphone with active data plan Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be authorized to work in the United States Comfortable working as a 1099 Independent Contractor Compensation Paid per minute for actual route time 4-hour minimum pay guaranteed for every route , even if completed in less than 4 hours Bi-weekly direct deposit Paid training Why Work With Platform?
