This energetic role offers the opportunity to work independently while ensuring timely and safe delivery of water supplies. You'll play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction with every delivery. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver water to residential and commercial customers. Load and unload water bottles or containers using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Follow designated routes accurately, adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. Interact courteously with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any delivery questions or concerns. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs using mobile devices or delivery management systems. Requirements Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving is advantageous. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Physical ability to lift heavy water containers safely, following proper lifting practices. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation is a plus.
