Company van, gas and insurance covered. You never put a mile on your own car. Starbird Delivery LLC is a locally owned delivery company in Simi Valley. We've been running routes here since 2020, we employ around 90 people, and we run about 45 vans out of our facility on Tapo Canyon Road.

THE PAY Starting pay:

$22.25 per hour Overtime after 8 hours Paid time off Paid training, including an on-road ride along before you go out alone

THE SCHEDULE

Most routes start at 10:30 AM. Start times can run earlier during peak season. Shifts up to 10 hours Routes run 7 days a week, and drivers work at least one weekend day Full-time and part-time schedules available If your mornings are committed - school drop-off, a class, a second job - this schedule works around it. You are not setting a 5 AM alarm.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Safely operate a company delivery van Use a handheld device for routing and delivery information Navigate assigned delivery routes Load and unload packages Lift packages up to 50 lbs Enter and exit the van frequently throughout your shift Walk up and down stairs as needed Work in varying weather conditions Deliver safely and treat customers well

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently

WHERE THIS GOES

We promote from the driver bench. Lead Driver, Dispatcher and Operations Manager roles at Starbird have gone to people who started on a route. DOT certification is available.
