In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload cargo. This position requires a strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Navigate routes effectively using GPS or maps to ensure timely deliveries. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and customer signatures. Communicate with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Clean driving record Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles is essential. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is required. Knowledge of manual transmission operation is a plus. Experience using pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
