The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with clients. Previous experience with warehouse operations, commercial driving, and route management is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on logistics and transportation. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques Ensure accurate loading and proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items promptly and professionally Collect signatures or proof of delivery as required Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or organizing stock when not on delivery routes Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred, especially with route driving and heavy lifting Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks such as moving and loading/unloading cargo Warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and warehouse operations Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
