Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of materials to our customers and job sites while providing excellent customer service. When deliveries are complete or business is slow, you will assist our warehouse team with general warehouse operations to help maintain efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess professional driving experience, a strong focus on safety, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport materials to customer locations and job sites. Verify the accuracy of loads before departure and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws. Carefully unload heavier items using hand trucks when necessary to ensure safe handling and prevent damage. Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve issues as needed. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles to ensure orders are secure and accurate. Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and vendors on-site. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns. When delivery routes are complete or business is slow, assist warehouse staff with general warehouse duties, including loading, unloading, stocking, order pulling, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Support the warehouse team as needed to help maintain efficient daily operations. Requirements Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Previous delivery driving experience is preferred. Ability to safely transport and handle materials, including pipes up to 21' in length. Familiarity with basic warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, chop saws, or willingness to be trained. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to frequently lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more throughout the workday. Physical stamina to handle the demands of lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
