Job Description

1. Must have a CLEAR Class C Drivers License. 2. Must be able to PASS a Drug test. 3. Hours can start anywhere between 4:00am & 5:00am Monday - Friday 4.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
a. Requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods. b. Requires the ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. c. Requires the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach. d. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments. e. Must be able to work in and around fumes and odors. f. Must comply with department dress code. g. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. h. Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally. i. Must be able to lift 25 pounds repeatedly. j. Requires regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job.
General Responsibilities:
a. Transport food and supplies among district facilities. b. Maintain assigned schedule. c. Maintain vehicle in clean condition. d. Maintain proper hygiene, sanitary and safety practices as regulated by state and district policy. e. Maintain fuel level of assigned truck. f. Follow traffic laws and drive in a safe manner to ensure safety of the driver, others on the road, condition of truck and food. g. Immediately inform the Owner of lateness or emergency mechanical failure. h. Inform Owner of routine maintenance and repair. i. Responsible for loading and unloading truck. j. Responsible for accurate delivery of food and supplies as well as the condition of food and supplies. k. Adhere to all district health and safety policies.
