Job Description

Rancho Durazno and Topp Fruits are two family-run farms on the Western Slope with a shared commitment to organic farming, farmworker welfare, and to producing the highest quality fruit. Our farms partner on warehousing and transportation logistics to serve our farmers markets and wholesale customers on the Front Range. We are seeking a safe and competent Last Mile Delivery Driver to support fruit logistics during the 2026 season. This role is central to keeping fruit moving smoothly from farms to customers. Schedule & Hours Seasonal timeframe: June through October Weekly hours: Early & late season: 15-20 hours/week Peak season (late July-early September): 20-30 hours/week Typical workdays: Every Wednesday and Saturday through the season 1-2 days per week of special deliveries and empty box pickups during peak season Hours vary based on fruit volume and delivery needs. This role reports to our Warehouse Manager and Harrison Topp of Topp Fruits. Key Responsibilities Communication & Logistics Work with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate deliveries and troubleshoot issues Deliveries Deliver fruit orders to customers using an automatic
GMC T7500
box truck (26,000 GVWR; CDL preferred but not required) or similar truck. Safely secure loads using ratchet straps and E-tracks to prevent product damage Reference invoices and box labelling to deliver correct orders to customers Unload orders at docks and using a lift-gate (order size ranges from a few boxes to full pallets) Aid in truck repair and/or transportation to a mechanic in the event of truck breakdowns Build, load and transport pallets of empty boxes back to Denver warehouse Document damage and issues as needed What We're Looking For Professional experience operating trucks of similar size, with excellent references A clean driving record Comfortable with physical work (lifting 20-40lb boxes, pallet handling, loading trucks) Courteous with customers and coworkers A calm problem-solver under time-sensitive conditions
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
