Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering appliances safely and efficiently to customers' homes, ensuring proper installation, and providing exceptional customer service. Your mechanical expertise and technical skills will help guarantee that appliances are set up correctly, functioning properly, and meet our high standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine physical activity with technical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery trucks, such as box trucks, to transport appliances to customer locations. Unload appliances carefully, following safety protocols to prevent damage or injury. Install appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications and schematics, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and HVAC units. Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on appliances using mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Conduct thorough inspections of appliances prior to delivery to ensure functionality and quality. Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Complete all delivery documentation accurately and maintain detailed records of installations and service activities. Requirements Proven experience in appliance repair, field service, or as a service technician with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and equipment repair techniques. Prior delivery driver experience with a valid driver's license and experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to appliance assembly, troubleshooting, and repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and follow detailed installation instructions. Physical capability to lift heavy appliances safely and stand for extended periods during deliveries and installations.
