Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, where you will play a vital role in bringing high-quality appliances directly to our customers' homes. This energetic position combines the excitement of delivery with the technical challenge of installing and troubleshooting appliances, ensuring every customer experience is seamless and satisfying. You will operate company vehicles, handle delicate equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and efficiency on every job. (their is room for more pay depending on experence!!!) Responsibilities Safely operate company 26ft box trucks and delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations. Unload, inspect, and deliver appliances with precision, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition. Install a variety of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more, following detailed schematics and installation instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment to assemble and secure appliances according to manufacturer specifications. Troubleshoot appliance issues on-site by diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing problems using technical knowledge and equipment troubleshooting skills. Communicate clearly with customers to explain installation processes, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service. Complete detailed documentation of deliveries and installations, including inspection reports and service notes. Qualifications Proven experience with appliance installation, repair, or field service work; familiarity with appliance repair is highly valued. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and understanding of refrigeration systems. Ability to read schematics, use ladders safely, and operate various hand tools and power tools efficiently. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and basic assembly techniques relevant to appliance installation. Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar delivery vehicles; valid driver's license required. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of managing field service tasks independently. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment troubleshooting, and electrical systems enhances your effectiveness in this role.
