Job Description
Job Hiring full-time and part-time delivery driver CDL Class A license required, doing local deliveries for Lowe's Home improvement stores. Must be able to pass drug test and back ground check Duties Safely operate various commercial vehicles, including box trucks and other delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while maintaining punctuality. Deliver packages directly to customers' locations with a focus on excellent customer service, professionalism, and positive interactions. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and organizing shipments when not on delivery routes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly. Handle heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading processes and ensure proper documentation of deliveries. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Warehouse experience involving moving goods, operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating vehicles with manual transmission is advantageous. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and vehicle operation. Familiarity with load & unload procedures, route planning, and basic vehicle maintenance practices.
