May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

Harmon Enterprises is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to join our Part-Time / Recovery Driver Pool . This opportunity is designed for experienced professional drivers who want to earn strong OTR income without committing to a traditional full-time OTR schedule. When Harmon Enterprises has a temporary driver opening, emergency coverage need, truck recovery, or load recovery, we contact drivers in our approved recovery pool based on availability. If you're available, you can accept the assignment. If you're not, you can decline and remain in the pool for future opportunities. No fixed weekly schedule. No requirement to accept every assignment. When you do accept an assignment, you'll commit to being on the road for an agreed period of 7-14 days . Compensation Revenue-Producing Loads — 27% of Gross Revenue Drivers receive 27% of gross load revenue for revenue-producing loads completed during their assignment. Loaded Truck Recovery — 27% of Load Gross If you're called to recover a truck that already has an active load, you'll receive 27% of the gross revenue for that load . Empty Truck Recovery / Repositioning — $0.65 Per Mile If you're recovering or repositioning an empty truck, you'll receive $0.65 per mile until revenue-producing operations begin. Estimated Earnings Drivers can expect approximately $2,000-$5,400 per 7-14 day assignment , depending on assignment length, freight revenue, loads completed, miles, and recovery circumstances. Estimated earnings are not guaranteed. Assignment Schedule Every assignment is based on driver availability and Harmon Enterprises' operational needs . Before you go on the road, you and Harmon Enterprises will establish the length of your assignment.
Minimum assignment:
7 days Maximum assignment: 14 days Day 1 begins when you start driving the truck. This allows you to know your expected time on the road before accepting the assignment. There is no guaranteed number of assignments or fixed rotation. What You'll Do Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include: Run OTR refrigerated freight Provide temporary coverage when a regular driver is unavailable Recover trucks and equipment Complete loads requiring driver recovery Rescue or continue time-sensitive freight Reposition equipment Communicate consistently with dispatch and operations Safely protect company equipment and customer freight Return equipment to the Harmon Enterprises Delaware yard at the conclusion of the assignment when operationally practical Recovery Travel When an assignment requires travel to recover Harmon Enterprises equipment, approved transportation necessary to reach the truck will be arranged or covered by Harmon Enterprises . Travel arrangements may include airfare and other approved transportation depending on the recovery location. Once you take possession of the truck and begin driving, Day 1 of your assignment begins . Getting Home Assignments will be planned with your agreed end date established before you leave. Whenever operationally practical, dispatch will route the truck back toward the Harmon Enterprises Delaware yard as the assignment concludes. Drivers may arrange their own transportation from the yard, or transportation home may be available through our Lot Coordinator when arranged in advance.
