Part‑Time Hotshot Delivery Driver - Company Flatbed (Non‑CDL) Job Summary We're hiring a part‑time hotshot driver to handle day‑trip deliveries of decking and trim materials to customer job sites using our company flatbed truck. This is non‑CDL work, focused on local and regional day trips with no overnights. You'll run scheduled routes, deliver directly to active job sites, and assist with unloading on arrival. The role is paid per trip with same‑day pay, making it an excellent side‑income opportunity for a reliable driver with a clean record. Key Responsibilities Drive our company flatbed truck on scheduled local and regional day trips. Safely transport decking, trim, and related materials from our yard to customer job sites. Assist with unloading materials at the customer site, working with customer crews when present.
Confirm delivery details:
correct address, materials, and placement per instructions. Perform basic pre‑trip and post‑trip checks on the truck and load (ties, straps, lights, tires). Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times. Communicate clearly by phone/text about ETAs, delays, and any issues at the job site. Represent the company professionally with punctuality, courtesy, and respect on every delivery. Requirements Valid state driver's license (no CDL required). Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years. Able to lift, carry, and move decking boards and trim (up to about 50-75 lbs) using safe technique. Comfortable working at construction and residential job sites, outdoors in varying weather. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow routing and delivery instructions. Strong references that can speak to driving reliability, work ethic, and professionalism. Smartphone for GPS navigation, text updates, and photo confirmation of completed deliveries. Schedule and Pay Part‑time, as‑needed based on scheduled deliveries. Local and regional day trips only ; no overnights. Paid per trip , not hourly - trip rate agreed in advance. Same‑day pay upon completion of each trip (via agreed payment method). Ideal as a side‑income role for someone who wants flexible, structured work without long‑haul driving.
Pay:
