Job Description

Penco Corporation is seeking a qualified Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Responsibilities:
Handle product with care, ensuring no damage to product Immediately communicate any customer concerns to management Assist with other warehouse tasks as need Keep delivery vehicle clean and well maintained Inspect product prior to loading delivery truck, verify all hardware accounted for; notate any defects and inform management. Driving and navigating to customer locations Safe loading of product onto delivery truck Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner Review delivery tickets and check date, directions, special instructions Check load for stability and that all product is secure Utilize GPS tracking System Document delivery and receipt according to company policy Perform DOT pre-trip inspection using pre-trip inspection sheet Obey all traffic regulations while operating a company owned vehicle on public roads or private property
Requirements:
Maintain high safety standards Ability to work in a team environment Strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to continually lift/move heavy products Excellent communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Forklift experience Two years delivery experience
DOT Physical Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs unassisted and up to 200 lbs assisted Ability to stand, sit, climb, and walk for extended periods of time.
