Job Description
Sysco is seeking a dependable Class A Delivery Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this on-site role, you will safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to deliver food products to restaurants, healthcare, education, and hospitality customers. Responsibilities include route-based deliveries, loading/unloading, conducting DOT-compliant inspections, and maintaining accurate logs and documentation. You will provide professional, customer-focused service while supporting sales and marketing initiatives, helping build strong customer relationships and enhance Sysco's brand visibility, all within an inclusive, team-oriented culture. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to deliver food products to commercial customers on assigned routes. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT and Sysco safety standards. Load, unload, and verify products using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring accurate and damage-free deliveries. Provide professional, customer-focused service, resolving delivery issues and supporting sales and marketing initiatives. Maintain delivery documentation, electronic logs, and delivery records with accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to optimize routes and uphold Sysco's standards of integrity and teamwork.
