Delivery Driver

Overview Delivery drivers transport pizza and other products from the restaurant to customer's homes, workplaces, or other locations. Delivery drivers must be efficient, friendly, and service-oriented. Duties

• Upon arrival, check to make sure that the delivery hot box and heating pads are turned on and bags are on heater
• Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate.
• Transporting items to customers at their desired locations.
• Managing cash and card payments upon delivery, as needed.
• Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into POS system
• Adhering to road and traffic regulations.
• Remaining up to date with the restaurant's promotions and informing customers of these accordingly.
• Anticipating and responding to customers' queries and complaints.
• Assist with telephones calls and placing customer orders during busy shifts to reduce the customer wait time.
• Maintain communication with managers and other staff members to ensure an efficient working relationship.
• Make Pizza Boxes
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area associated with the job function.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations, measurements, and inventory counts Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members Demonstrated ability in customer service, sales, and upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience Physical capability for heavy lifting, prolonged driving, and standing for extended periods Organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries efficiently within tight timeframes Military experience is a plus, showcasing discipline, reliability, and strong work ethic Join us in delivering excellence!
