Delivery Drivers:

average $30+ /hr - you keep 100% of your tips Our drivers typically average >$25/hour between verifiable credit card tips and hourly pay. We also pay driver expense compensation (for gas and car expenses) and drivers receive additional cash tips. Altogether, compensation is typically >30/hr and can often be as high as $35-$40+ per hour for dinner drivers during our busy season. Pay includes $10.98/hr through payroll plus a fixed expense reimbursement per delivery. We pay your cash and credit card tips out nightly and offer all employees free pizza on every shift. This is a customer service position, and the ideal candidate needs to be friendly and outgoing when interacting with the customers. The position primarily involves delivering the orders to our customers, but also includes helping to answer phones, prep, and clean up while waiting on the pizzas to finish cooking. Delivery Drivers must have their own reliable transportation and a relatively clean driving record including no tickets for >15 mph over the limit and no more than 1 at fault accident in the last 3 years. The full list of safe driving criteria can be shared at the interview if you are unsure if you will qualify. Full and Part-time drivers are encouraged to apply. We need lots of full time drivers this time of year but we also need rush drivers that just come for the busiest few hours and leave. These rush drivers make the most money per hour but only get 3-4 hours per shift. It can be a really fantastic part time job for the right person who doesn't mind a short shift.

The team is small enough that everyone can be heard and we can change anything that isn't working without needing to get an approval from some fat cat 3 states away. Merlins Pizza is a little different sometimes, and that's ok because we are the only ones that have to approve it.
