Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Delivery Driver / Landscaper / Installer to join our energetic team! This individual needs to be at least 21 years of age and have a valid, clean drivers license. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving, landscaping, and installation responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for safely delivering materials, performing landscaping tasks, and installing products on-site. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This individual will also assist in the retail store when not out on deliveries. This individual should speak English fluently. Duties Safely operate a box truck and or cargo van, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Deliver landscaping supplies including but not limited to plants, soil, mulch, pottery, rock and fountains directly to customer locations or job sites. Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, soil preparation, mulching, and site cleanup as needed. Install outdoor features including plants, mulch, rock, pottery, fountains and other landscape elements with precision and care. Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities. Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns professionally. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas; perform routine inspections on trucks and equipment to ensure safety compliance. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, or communication with team members. Assist with various tasks and projects at the retail store setting when not on deliveries. Handle a physical workload of 50 lbs. or more. Work outside in the heat all day. Experience Previous commercial driving experience is required. Previous delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and customer service is preferred. Experience involving material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous. Experience in landscaping or outdoor installation work including moving heavy materials and operating landscape tools is beneficial. Ability to follow detailed instructions while managing multiple deliveries or projects efficiently. Demonstrated adherence to safety standards including DOT regulations and weight handling in the workplace.
