Job Description

Join our family-owned business, Bandit Fitness Equipment, with over 35 years of experience in providing top-quality fitness solutions. We're passionate about fitness and wellness, and we're looking for a dedicated Lead Delivery & Installation Technician to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our residential and commercial customers receive exceptional service through professional delivery, installation, maintenance, and repair of our fitness equipment. As our Delivery & Installation Technician, you'll be the face of Bandit Fitness Equipment, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery and installation of our equipment. Your expertise will keep our customers' fitness journeys uninterrupted, whether in their homes or commercial gyms.
What You'll Do:
Delivery & Installation:
Deliver and professionally install a wide range of fitness equipment, including cardio (treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers) and strength equipment (multi-function, selectorized, benches, free weights). Determine safe and efficient methods for moving and handling heavy equipment (150+ lbs).
Customer Service & Communication:
Provide exceptional customer service to both residential and commercial clients. Clearly explain technical issues and repair solutions to customers. Maintain professional communication and phone etiquette.
Administrative & Organizational:
Complete necessary paperwork, including warranty reimbursement forms. Maintain an organized workspace and manage job schedules effectively. Basic computer skills for job tracking and communications.
Professional Conduct:
Arrive punctually at job sites and maintain a professional appearance. Work in the field and in the shop as needed.
What You Bring:
Essential Skills:
Proven hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems. Strong commitment to excellent customer service. Ability to safely handle and move heavy equipment (150+ lbs). Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and specialized tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid Florida Driver's License and clean driving record. Clean background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year of mechanical experience. Experience repairing fitness equipment. College degree (not required). Residence in Pinellas County.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$37,440.00 - $50,000.00 per year
