Full-Time Job Overview Hills & Valley Water Systems is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Salt Delivery Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering water softener salt to residential and commercial customers across the greater Orlando area, including Kissimmee, Clermont, Winter Garden, and Lakeland. This is a physically active, customer-facing role that plays a key part in keeping our clients' water treatment systems running at their best. Duties & Responsibilities Load, transport, and deliver water softener salt bags and other products to residential and commercial locations on a scheduled route Carry and place salt bags in customer homes, garages, utility areas, or designated storage locations — including stairs when required Inspect vehicle before and after each shift and report any maintenance needs Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as needed Communicate professionally with customers and address basic service questions Coordinate with dispatch and the service team on delivery schedules and route changes Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, organized, and properly stocked Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies Skills & Qualifications Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required, but a plus) Ability to regularly lift and carry 40-50 lb bags of salt throughout the workday Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Comfortable working independently and managing a route efficiently Basic customer service skills — friendly, professional, and courteous Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for route navigation and delivery confirmations Prior delivery or route driver experience preferred Knowledge of Central Florida roads and communities is a plus
