Job Description

Position Summary The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, transporting, and unloading windows, doors, and related products according to the daily delivery schedule. This position is responsible for timely deliveries, proper product handling, jobsite safety, and professional customer service. Responsibilities/Duties Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean, acceptable driving record. Safely operate the company delivery vehicle and follow all traffic and company safety policies. Confirm all scheduled products are properly loaded, secured, and accounted for before leaving the warehouse. Verify products against order acknowledgments, packing lists, and the daily delivery schedule. Safely handle and unload products using proper equipment, including dollies, carts, suction cups, and other provided equipment. Assist with lifting and handling products up to 75 lbs. Communicate with the assigned ASC regarding jobsite conditions, delivery status, and completion. Provide proof of delivery and photos of delivered product to the assigned ASC and Warehouse Supervisor. Immediately report damaged, missing, or incorrect product according to company SOP, including photos and required product information. Follow all jobsite safety requirements and wear required PPE, including hardhat, back brace, and steel-toe shoes. Keep the delivery truck clean, fueled above ½ tank, and properly stocked with DEF. Monitor vehicle maintenance and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Maintain clean and properly worn uniforms in accordance with the Uniform Agreement. Complete and properly file all required delivery paperwork at the end of each route. Maintain a positive and professional attitude and build strong relationships with customers, builders, and jobsite personnel. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
