Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Parts Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parts to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with mandatory overtime. You will work around 50 hours a week Responsibilities Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and pickup trucks Load and unload parts efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Ensure timely delivery of parts to customers while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking inventory, confirming receipt of parts, and returns. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in the organization of warehouse inventory as needed. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with loading and unloading materials, including heavy lifting capabilities. Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving. Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
